Topic: Transportation Research Board (TRB) Circular E-C296 published in November 2024 discusses the design and construction of pavement foundations aimed at achieving a lifespan of 100 years. Underscoring the importance of innovative materials, a critical aspect addressed is moisture control. This presentation discusses the influence on hydraulic properties of the structural section, utilizing an engineered Moisture Management Geotextile to increase service life in pavement foundation systems. ODOT project case studies will be included.
